One of the most elegant and striking dress watches the Chronometer Royal is one of those real classic vintage timepieces.

With a beautiful Jaeger based movement so masterfully decorated by Vacheron Constantin and a rare case design featuring playful “Maltese Cross” Style lugs, we find this design only on the reference 6111.

This is also a fairly large “Calatrava” style watch , clocking in at 35mm and being thin cased it looks even larger.

This watch hails from the early 50s and comes to me in nice clean conditions.

The case is clean and has nice faceted lugs. The case back engraving “Chronometer Royal” is deep and fresh.

The dial shows little aging and is overall in great conditions with cool applied gold fancy markers.

Movement running well and keeping time.

On generic black leather strap.
