Magnificent watch alert!

A stunning early 5513 in all original condition and stunning character.

1.8 million serial dates it to 1968.

The dial is gorgeous with creamy egg shell patina on the markers and perfectly matched by the hand set. The background is clean and void of defects. The meters first text is crisp.

The case is thick with even lugs and the original beveled edges are still visible and attractive.

The bezel is very sharp and the insert is absolutely stunning having faded to a nice grey. The fonts are fat and the kissing 4 is the real mccoy.

The original expandable riveted bracelet is just incredible in top condition and extremely clean . The clasp is correctly marked 70, original to the watch.

Accompanied by the extremely attractive sea horse sport Rolex outer box with the 5513 sticker, inner box and it’s original warranty paper stamped in 69 and filled in 1976.

All in all a superb watch for the astute Rolex collector.
