I really love this deep heavy patina on this Submariner 1680, cappuccino shade markers and hands + faded bezel make this timepiece a treat to look at!

The case is sharp and fat, with nice bevels still on the lugs. That was also something that made this watch a “must buy”.

The bezel insert faded to a grayish blue shade and complements the dial beautifully.

Open 6s and 9s in the date wheel further prove it’s unmolested condition.

Crystal is domed and clean.

The dial is overall clean and beautiful. Has one tiny mark between 11 and 12 marker, not distracting or noticeable in any way.Hour Markers retained the tritium and are deep in patina and clean , all matching to each other. ??Hour hand is one shade lighter than the minute hand. Seconds hand tritium is missing and in my opinion makes the watch more appealing. Case has no dings or dents. Bezel insert is flawless with no scratches.
