Here we have an exceptional gem in vintage Rolex : Submariner 1680 in 18k gold with it’s full set of box and papers along with an extra black dial and bezel combo.

The gold Sub was the first gold sports Rolex made , an innovation of the early 70s.

The case is magnificent with sharp and even lugs, prominent satin finish and prominent beveled edges. Nice visible hallmarks on the back.

The crown is the original single dot one.

The blue dial has a superb sunburst look and is bright in color and clean with no defects. The hand set matches perfectly.

The blue bezel is overall clean and shows minor signs of wear.

The bracelet is tight and sharp, the clasp has been polished and the coronet logo is a bit shallow. 10 links total.

Accompanied by it’s punched original warranty, original Submariner booklet,translation leaflet,Rolex booklet,vinyl holder, Sea horse box (with 1680 /8 sticker!) , inner boxes.

The original owner also had a black dial and bezel in case he wanted to change the look up, both in overall pristine conditions. The dial has minor marks and dust that can be brushed off.
