A stunning timepiece, the Pre Daytona is as classy as it could get in the Rolex Vintage lineup.

The 1.2 milion serial dates it to 1962,in my books.

Silver dial and silver registers, such a clean soothing look to it. Pump pushers and smooth bezel.

Case is sharp and crisp measuring in diameter 36mm like all the other daytonas.

The dial shows aging but given the neutral silver color the age spots are not distracting and don’t take much away from the beauty of this watch.
