I am fortunate to have acquired this absolutely spectacular vintage GMT gilt dial from 1966 and for the time being I am the safekeeper until it finds it’s perfect loving home.

1.3 million serial dates it to 1966, in my books.

The case is phenomenal with full original proportions, even lugs, original strong sharp beveled edges, prominent satin finish just like when it left the factory. Basically 10/10. The bezel is thick with sharp teeth. The original fat font insert is crisp as new, wow what a find with these vivid pepsi colors! The case back is in top conditions and corectly stamped last quarter of 65.

The dial is vivid,lively and super attractive. The black glossy laquer background is void of defects and is pristine. The gilded font text is sharp, crisp and perfect. The hand set is in top conditions and matches the tritium markers patina. The lume plots are puffy, even and fully original.

The riveted 7206 bracelet is in pristine conditions and the clasp is correctly stamped 66.

The movement is clean and running strong.
