Reference 16550 is the heir to the “Freccione” 1655 Explorer II and was produced I believe from 1985 to 1989.

Super crisp specimen this Explo II with a porcelain like white dial that acquired an incredible corn color patina on the markers. The contrast with the white dial and the black surround markers is striking.

Sharp bevels on lugs and minimal wear overall.

I also love the super fat font bezel in super crisp conditions.
