The super classic Explorer 1 reference 1016 transitions from casual to dress very easily and is just a pleasure on the wrist.

2.5 million serial dates it to 1972, in my books.

The case is extremely sharp + even with prominent satin finish and a clean bezel.

The dial is very attractive and clean and is a tritium service replacement dial. It glows when put under a strong light. It has the look of the coveted L series 1010 (the last series produced).

The 7836 oyster bracelet with folded links is in pristine shape.

The watch has been serviced by Rolex in 2016 and is accompanied by it’s service papers and receipt.

Comes also with Rolex inner and outer box.

A fantastic watch indeed!
