Stunning tropical dial on this Datejust ref#1601, stainless steel case and white gold bezel clad by a lovely oyster bracelet.

Sharp and fat case on this 2.1 million serial dating it to 1968, in my books.

For a reason or another due to the elements the dial took over a special leopard print patina on a glossy background.

Unique in it’s kind and totally attractive.

The case has signs of wear and has a ding on the side, please refer to pics. The case is still thick and sharp. The bracelet has some stretch but plenty of use still to go for it. The dial luminous flaked in many spots and flaked off the hands. I think it gives the watch good character. Keeping accurate time and running strong.
