What a beautiful collector’s item this first series Rolex Oysterquartz reference 17000 with the classic black dial with the “oysterquartz” only text. Clean and iconic!

In beautiful conditions with a nice thick and crisp case. Sharp beveled edges and clean lines.

The dial is very attractive with no flaws. Some of the lume plots thinned off. The hand set is in good conditions.

The bracelet retained it’s tightness and no stretch and is in great conditions.

The back lugs have crisp engravings of reference and serial numbers.

The watch has been service by Rolex in 1993 and it is documented by the service papers accompanying the time piece. The battery has been recently serviced and documented by a jeweler’s receipt.

Accompanied by it’s original Rolex box.

All in all a fantastic watch for the vintage Rolex aficionado!
