A special Rolex indeed this vintage Date rare reference 1505 retailed by Asprey in London special ordered by the Sultan of Oman in 1973.

The khanjar signature on the dial is extremely attractive and sets this watch apart from all it’s counterparts.

The case is thick and sharp with even lugs. The engine turned yellow gold bezel is extremely rare and makes this watch quite unique and detailed. The case back is engraved with Asprey, the famed London jeweler catering to the best of the middle east.

The dial is absolutely fantastic having a creamy satin finish to it and unusual applied gold markers. The red khanjar is the real cherry on the cake and works beautifully with the watch colors. There is one scratch on the dial between 7 and 8 which is really not so visible and no eye sore.

On leather strap with generic buckle.

The movement is running fine with no issues.
