An exquisite 1940s gem this vintage Rolex Carre’ (square) in pink gold, reference 3681 from the “Chronometre” line aka Precision for the anglophile market. I’ve always been attracted by the Precision line with it’s classic aesthetics so off the beaten path of what we expect in vintage Rolex.

The 18k pink gold case measuring 25mm width x 36mm length is sharp and mint as new with strong edges and full curves along with it’s super deep hallmarks on the side of the case and serial number engravings on the case back. The original crystal is in pristine conditions.

The salmon colored dial with classic Art Deco layout is in overall fine conditions with minor aging visible in the pictures. The blue steel hand set is in pristine conditions.

The manual wind Rolex Chronometre Caliber is winding extremely smoothly, like new.
