This watch hails from my favorite era of Rolex production, mid 80s Patina Galore!

Reference 16660 or “Triple 6” as the collectors call it is the SeaDweller of the 80s with a sapphire crystal.

This specific timepiece has a very thick case that looks unpolished with prominent bevels on lugs.

The dial has a deep patina on the tritium markers and hands. The glossy dial background has a spider web texture aging. Extremely attractive when the light hits it.

The bezel faded to a ghost color. Simply superb!

The bracelet is still tight and the watch overall has a great feel to it.

Accompanied by it’s original box, wallet and booklets.

A fantastic watch indeed!
