I am so intrigued by the Rolex King Midas line, a 70s classic beloved by the king of Rock and Roll himself, Elvis Presley. The only Rolex model along with the “texano” featuring limited edition numbers.

This is a very rare iteration of the King Midas bangle watch featuring a Tiger’s eye stone dial, I dare you to find more.

4 million serial dates it to 1976, in my books.

The 18k gold massive case is in nice sharp conditions retaining it’s fine angles and edges along with it’s King Midas staple horizontal brush finish. The winding crown is the original one. The serial number, model and hallmark engravings on the back are deep and crisp.

The tiger eye dial is in mint conditions with no cracks or defects. The gilded “Midas” Greek alphabet signature is a lovely detail and is in pristine conditions.

The bracelet built as a bangle is in pristine conditions with no stretch, adjustable within the clasp, and will fit a 6.75 inch wrist.

The manual wind Rolex caliber is winding and running fine.
