What a beauty this cream Explorer II reference 16550 , 9 million serial dating to 1987.

Lovely sharp and thick case , nice sharp bezel with prominent radial finish. Some of the black engraving is missing. The green case back sticker survived still on the case back.

The dial is absolutely spectacular with a deep cream ivory color background perfectly even and attractive. White gold surround markers and hand set. This dial is called “Rail Dial” since the two C’s of Chronometer and Certified are perfectly aligned creating a “rail” effect.
