A rare iteration of the uber classic Tank Louis, sold at the New York boutique early 80s, featuring ultra thin case and movement.

The 18k case measuring 23 x 30 classic size is in pleasing conditions with very defined brancards and crisp case back with all engravings and hallmarks sharp and deep. New York hand etched numbers well preserved. This case has four screws on the back allowing for a smoother and cleaner case, quite the rare version. The cabochon sapphire crown is clean.

The dial is in nice conditions with no cracking on the lacquered background along with the thin blue steel hand set in fine state.

The ultra thin Cartier Caliber 21 based on the F. Piguet movement is winding smooth and running well.

On new old stock Cartier lizard strap and Ardillon plated buckle.

An all time classic indeed.
