This Tank is a men’s size classic timepiece featuring a fully British hallmarked 18k gold case and deployant buckle all dating to the mid 1950s. Wow what a watch, it’s a true jewel.

The 18k gold case measuring 23 x 32mm is in fine conditions for its age retaining its wonderful proportions and strong edges along with defined brancards creating the iconic Tank form. The British hallmark on the side of the case featuring the crown along with the ultra iconic JC stamp (as in Jacques Cartier) are crisp and deep. The original faceted sapphire capped crown is in pristine conditions. The back case is mint along with the deep hand engraved Cartier serial number. The original domed/ faceted crystal is mesmerizing and in good conditions.

The original classic Cartier dial layout is in overall pleasing conditions with even warm patina throughout, aging on the 1o marker. The blue steel handset is mint. Great glow and warmth from the dial extremely charming on the wrist like only a true vintage watch can be.

The original Cartier manual wind movement consistent with the age of the watch is running well and keeping time.
