A lovely find this Cartier Tank Chinoise (as in Chinese Tank) from the 1960s,most probably sold at the NYC boutique, you don’t see one everyday..

The 18k gold case reminiscing bamboo branches measuring 23 x 32 mm?? is in overall pleasing conditions retaining it’s facets, steps, edges and hallmark. The inside case back as European Watch & Clock engravings as expected for this time period. The faceted crown with sapphire is original and a great detail on the watch.

The dial is in nice conditions for it’s age showcasing a fine enamel background and lovely original breguet style hands.

The Cartier vintage signed movement made by EWC (correct for the watch) is running well and has just been serviced.
