A really esoteric kind of watch this rare steel octagon shaped Audemars Piguet pre Royal Oak! I own one in my personal collection and I’ve seen thus far only 4 specimens of this scarce reference.

The stainless steel 33mm diameter case appears way larger on the wrist and presents itself in sharp original conditions with fully defined facets on bezel and lugs. The cabochon hexagonal crown is a rare feature seen in some 70s/80s APs. The octagonal case and all it’s details are obviously a precursor to the great Royal Oak design.

The black dial is in overall fine conditions, very hard to photograph in all it’s beauty. The hand set is pristine.

The Automatic ultra thin Ap caliber 2120 is running well.
