Incredible set with this Vintage Sub ref#5508 with gilt glossy dial and no crown guard!

This timepiece is a real collector’s item and very sought after in the market place.

The early subs didn’t have crown guards like the more recent ones and are often associated with James Bond,007.

Sean Connery wore one with no crown guards (although his was a “big crown” and is reference 6538).

This specimen comes to us with a very attractive gilt glossy dial with a beautiful gilt chapter ring. Aged evenly and with a beautiful yellow patina matching throughout the gilt hands and the pearl in the insert.

It was manufactured in the late 50s (1958).

All original correct parts on this watch including a lovely rivet bracelet ,period correct for the watch.

Nice case,still has some level of champhers on the lugs.

Comes accompanied by it’s original Rolex Warranty and Rolex Box.
