Patek Philippe reference 96 is the essential Calatrava being the first one ever made and all the rest comes after this! A simple but iconic design, great things indeed come in small packages! Produced from the 1940 to the 1970s it is the classic Patek to have. This one appears to be from the 1950s.

The 18k gold case measuring 31mm is in overall pleasing conditions retaining even and strong lugs along with deep hallmarks. The original “Big Crown” is in fine conditions.

The dial in it’s original unrestored attractive conditions retains a nice elvated 3d Patek Philippe signature and a clean background along with the hand set in nice conditions.

The manul wind Patek Philippe movement is winding smooth and running well.
