Truly one of my grail watches, the Mido Powerwind 5907 Rainbow Diver is such an exciting timepiece full of character, history and color!

From the 1960s this large and rare diver’s watch boasting a beautifully attractive condition and rare matching original bracelet.

The stainless steel case measuring 37mm in diameter and 45mm long including lugs is in nice original conditions with some wear on the sides (remember this is a tool watch not a safe queen), thick lugs, clean and sharp coin edged bezel with well preserved engraved and enameled black numerals rotating with no issues. The case back showcases the diver logo and serial number / reference engravings fully visible.

The original domed crystal is in overall nice conditions with some expected wear, the Mido logo at the center is visible and pristine. What a detail!

The mesmerizing rainbow dial with colors that aren’t even around anymore is in very nice conditions, vivid tones – clear numerals and sectors along with tritium luminous plots all matching in their cream patina and well preserved along with the hand set with the same patina.

The flat link Mido bracelet is in very pleasing conditions and will fit a 7.5 inch wrist and smaller.

The automatic “powerwind” Mido movement is running well.
