The Tank Reverso has the classic shape and proportions of a Tank Louis (slightly rounder)  featuring a cabriolet case cover option, ideated by JLC in 1931 and utilized by Cartier as well in many iterations.

I acquired this Tank Reverso from a British estate. I believe this watch is from the late 1960s.

The 18k yellow gold case measuring 23 x 30mm is in overall pleasing conditions, the engravings on case back are visible featuring signature- hallmarks and model number. The case reverses but doesn’t fully shut on the covered side due to age and wear. It is no issue on the dial side.

The sapphire cabochon crown is pristine.

The original dial is in nice vintage conditions with a clean background and painted numerals (some paint loss at 11 marker).

The manual wind Jaeger LeCoultre movement is running well, just serviced in my workshop.

A classic to enjoy for times to come.
