One of the most iconic designs by the house of Cartier, the Baignoire as in bath tub in French is so good on the wrist and enjoyed by people of style for decades. More fun than the usual Tank, the Baignoire is a classic of vintage Cartier! Here we have it in a 1970s iteration from the LC Cartier collection of the era.

The 18k gold oval case with double rimmed bezel measuring 23x30mm is in overall pleasing conditions with a clean bezel and well retained hallmarks and engravings on case back. The chunky cabochon sapphire crown is in good conditions.

The original dial with painted radiating roman numerals and blue steel hand set is in decent conditions with some aging at the center pinion and at three o’clock.

The manual wind movement is winding smooth and running well.

Fit on green leather strap and original Cartier 18k deployant buckle on the side.
