What a uber classic watch the Submariner is! everybody can be comfortable wearing one,in any setting: under the sea , at a black tie gala or in a desert expedition.

Reference 1680 is the Submariner featuring a date window. Has been in production for most part of the 70s and then replaced by the sapphire crystal version 16800.

Dial:original non refinished. super clean background. oversized markers with a stunning frothy cream patina. “tritium luminous “swiss t<25”

Hands:original to the watch, one shade darker than markers. I guess they aged faster than the dial.

Case: In good condition no dings, dents or scratches.

Bezel: Clean with pearl intact.

Bracelet: Oyster Rolex bracelet code 93150 with diver extension and “patented” in the clasp. Little stretch and full links.

A very nice timepiece indeed, easy to wear,easy to buy and easy to sell.
