One of my most favorite Rolex rare references from the dressy and classy “Precision” line, the 9919 so called “Champs Elysees” is an outstanding watch with great wrist presence here presented in sharp and attractive conditions.

The 1.7 million serial dates it to 1967, in my books.

The 18k gold flying saucer shape case measuring 36mm (very large for the era) is in crisp conditions with serial number and coronet clearly visible on case back and well preserved along with beautifully preserved coin edge bezel and sharp lines. The original domed crystal is attractive and well preserved.

The dial is in pristine conditions along with the hand set. The opaline dial background catches the light beautifully in it’s sunray effect, truly a spectacle on the wrist.

The manual wind Rolex movement is winding smooth and running well.

Accessorized with it’s original 18k gold Rolex buckle.

A tremendous watch for the connoisseur.
