Patek Philippe Vintage Calatrava 570 White Gold
Nicknamed the “Calatravone” due to it’s big size and appearance reference 570 from the late 50s is as pure as it gets. When form follows functions and all that matters is a clean design well this reference embodies all furthermore coming in white gold, a rare iteration indeed.
The white gold case measuring 35mm and appearing much, much bigger is in nice pleasing conditions retaining it’s original proportions and lug curvature along with a clean bezel, case back and a crisp hallmark on back lug.
The original dial with it’s “champeleve'” baked enamel raised signature being as three dimensional as it’s first day is in overall fine conditions with just some wear at 11 and 7 markers. The dauphine style hand set is pristine.
The manual wind Patek Philippe movement with center seconds is winding and running well.
On custom made high quality calf leather strap and generic buckle.
A great watch to enjoy everyday (and pass along to the next generation after you’re done).
