Cartier Vintage Grand Tank Cintree Allongee’ Paris
The epitome of class: the Tank Cintree Allongee is the quintessential important vintage Tank most hard to come by and most desirable model by the enthusiasts and collectors. With it’s magnificent presence on the wrist and full size it’s a must have for the Cartier collector.
This tank dates to 1970 and is amongst the last made in the Cartier workshops (instead of the Swiss factory of modern day).
The 18k gold curvex case measuring 23 x 46mm is sharp and crisp with beautifully curved lines and sharp edges, well preserved eagle head hallmark on the side and serial number on case back. The faceted sapphire crown is pristine.
The dial is in overall pleasing conditions with no cracking and paint loss. The hand set is pristine.
The Jaeger LeCoultre movement is winding well, running smooth.
On leather strap and original Cartier deployant buckle.
A fantastic watch indeed.
