I’ve always had a thing for the “King Midas” starting from the name suggesting opulence and making you dream about that 70s vibe.. the heft and massiveness of the case, the geometry of the bracelet and simply that greek font on the dial..

4 million serial dates it to 1976 in my books.

This specific timepiece comes to me in pristine sharp conditions with barely any signs of wear.

The case is sharp with strong edges and prominent satin finish. The bracelet stands erect and the clasp is working properly with no issues.

The mesmerizing tiger eye dial has a beautiful chatoyant effect and honey color, exactly what you want to find in this kind of stone! Really cool to gaze at and see that beautiful cat eye effect.

The manual wind movement is clean and running fine.

The King Midas, the only limited edition numbered Rolex ever made.
