Description

In 1972, Cartier moved the watches production from France to Switzerland, to La Chaux de Fonds at Ebel. From this cooperation was born the ???Louis Cartier??? collection, 12 gold models with gold buckle inspired along the lines of the past, but revised in a modern key.

Here we have the most desirable model out of that collection the JUMBO “TV” Gondole in wonderful sharp and warm gold conditions. Like it’s vertical and white gold counterpart listed just prior this wristwatch is very masculine, very cool, very sexy and a testament to the wearer’s style and sophistication.

The 18k yellow gold ribbed case measuring 38mm wide without crown x 35mm length is in sharp mint conditions with strong curves. The gold patinated to a warm pleasing color having sat in a safe for a long time. The case back is sharp along with it’s deep serial engravings and hallmarks and bears the sticker from a Cartier maintenance done in the early 2000s according to Cartier’s customer service. The beaded sapphire cabochon crown is sexy and mint.

The gorgeous classic Cartier dial is in mint conditions and displays the “Paris” signature at 6. The blued hand set is in perfect conditions.

The mechanical manual wind Cartier caliber is winding smoothly and running fine.

On Cartier black alligator strap that will fit 7.5 inch wrist and it’s original deployment Cartier 18k buckle,

A magnificent watch with true value potential and extreme desirability.
