This is what I love about vintage Cartier, funky watches never seen before!

This unbelievable wristwatch from the late 60s features a very petite Cartier duoplan watch set within it’s reptile leather skin strap.

The 18k gold case with back winding crown measures 19mm including the leather at it’s widest point. The hallmarks on back are well preserved.

The dial featuring classic JLC for Cartier design is in pleasing conditions with some minor aging.

The alligator original strap is overall well preserved with some aging at the end of the strap, the original tang buckle with french hallmarks is pristine. Will fit a large wrist too.

The manual wind Duoplan JLC movement has just been serviced in my workshop and is running fine.

A stupendous watch for the stylish collector!
