Audemars Piguet Vintage Chronograph Huitieme 25644 Rose and Tantalum
One of my favorite watches from neo-vintage Audemars Piguet, the Huitieme Chronograph in rose and tantalum is very masculine, substantial and at the same classic in it’s proportions. Dating from the late 80s.
The case made of tantalum (a rare and heavy metal with it’s unique gun metal color) and 18k rose gold measuring 40mm is in nice conditions with a clean bezel and strong even lugs along with a well preserved engraved serial on case back.
The grey dial with automotive design reminiscent of a sports car dashboard is in pristine conditions along with the rose gold hand set.
The automatic AP movement is running well, the chronograph starts stops and resets with no issues.
On grey alligator strap that will fit 7 inch wrist and it’s original rare Audemars Piguet deployant buckle.
All in all a fantastic watch for the astute collector.
