Nothing is sexier on the wrist than a vintage Daytona, it is not an opinion it’s a fact.

This specific Rolex Daytona reference 6263 comes to me from a mid western estate and is in pleasing honest original conditions.

3 million serial dates it to 1972/73 in my books.

The case is thick, sharp with even strong lugs and defined holes on the side of the case. This watch has been loved everyday and has that genuine “shirt cuff shine” that we appreciate. The bezel metal ring is sharp and crisp with no dents. The iconic 6263 acrylic bezel is overall in nice conditions and has some surface wear at 12 that is visible under certain lights. No cracks or holes.

The “sigma dial” with rare white gold indices and hand set is in overall pleasing conditions with no major blemishes. The silver font Rolex text is crisp and vivid. The white registers are in pleasing conditions with minor aging.

The Rolex 727 Valijoux movement is keeping time and winding smoothly. The chronograph starts stops and resets correctly.

The watch is accompanied by it’s original riveted Rolex USA bracelet with the clasp stamped 75.

A really attractive and rare iteration Daytona 6263. Get it while it lasts!
