The owner’s family cherished the watch for decades and sporadically took it out or a spin on fancy occasions.
The case presents itself in full conditions with beautiful edges, stepped bezel and lovely curved lugs. The hallmarks on the side of the case are deep and fully visible. The back lug has the engraved Cartier numbers as it should be! The PP crown is fantastic and an essential detail in this watch.
The dial is very attractive with a very clean and bright opaline background, applied gold indexes that developed some beautiful rainbow oxidation patina and the perforated metallic minute track. The double signature is crisp and really makes the watch standout from it’s counterparts.
The movement is flawless and beautifully hand finished guilloche’ pattern on the gold rotor.
