Super Stunning and discontinued Patek Philippe Chronograph 5070 in white gold.
What is peculiar about this reference is the size , unusual for a Patek , clocking in at 42mm of case diameter.
The tree stepped case, the telemeter style dial and the fabulous blue hands are obviously inspired by classic 1930/40s chronographs.
This specific timepiece is in superb condition with a full and clean case, hallmarks on back lugs crisp and deep and a stunning clean movement showcased in the back. The strap is unworn and is clad by the Calatrava symbol deployment clasp.
This watch comes from the collection of a prominent collector and is accompanied by it’s box and wallet, yet he decided to keep the Certificate of Origin as he didn’t want his name publicized. Extract from the Archives of Patek Philippe has been ordered.
Manual wind movement, running smooth and very fluid chrono pushers and chrono functions. A pleasure to see those wheels in motion in the back and to tell time with this absolutely phenomenal timepiece.
