The original Reverso , the first cabriolet watch ever , was made for Polo players to protect their timepiece while playing their favorite sport.
The Reverso is one of the most iconing timepieces ever made and still going strong to this day!
This specific timepiece dates to 1934 according to the archive paper from JLC.
The stainless steel “staybrite” case is very sharp and retaining it’s original edges, grooves and angles. The case back has still it’s original crispy satin finish while the serial and reference numbers are deeply engraved and clearly visible. The covered side of the watch has an enamel engraved monogram (typical of 99% of vintage Reversos). Case diameter 23x39mm.
The original dial has lot’s of charm and character with the big radium numerals and circular centered minute track. Signs of age and patina are visible throughout yet the dial is pleasing and attractive, but most importantly authentic and GENUINE!
Manual wind movement caliber 410 winding smoothly and running strong.
