A very early Royal Oak 36mm in 18k yellow gold, reference 4100 was the first of this size RO.
My AP price list from the early 80s shows this watch listed at a whopping $8300, which was really a boat load back then!
The case is in nice conditions with prominent satin finish and sharp edges. Some signs of wear are present though no dings or dents.
The grey dial is really attractive and is acquiring some color change in its tapisserie tiles. The hand set is in good condition. No blemishes.
The bracelet is fully linked and still stands somewhat erect.
The beautiful thin AP movement is running fine, I don’t have service history for it.
An attractive watch that is also a great value, not to be missed.
