I am extremely drawn to watches with strong industrial design DNA and this Seiko from the brainchild of Giorgetto Giugiaro (of Delorean and Fiat Panda fame) is a prime example. Here a wonderful specimen in close to new old stock conditions featuring the very hard to come by matching bracelet.
This Seiko dates to the mid 1980s and features the renowned racing chronograph caliber used for the 7a28 Seiko series and was designed with race riders in mind, the case can attach on the steering wheel or handle bar through the unusual bracelet.
The case made of PVD steel and rubber measuring 43mm is in overall pristine conditions retaining it’s original sticker on case back.
The dial reminiscing of a dashboard is in pristine mint conditions along with the hand set.
The original and rare rubber bracelet is fully linked and in good conditions (some peeling from age on the plastic) along with the original rare steel clasp.
The movement is running well and keeping time as well as the chronograph functions.
A wonderful collectible for the Seiko and vintage watch lover.
