I freaking love those under the radar Patek Philippe timepieces from the late 60s early 70s, so ahead of their time and absolutely contemporary looking. In fact, this watch has an even sportier vibe than the Aquanaut and you’ll be the only one to have this on your wrist. Be a leader not a follower said the old Chinese proverb.
The stainless steel case (a rarity in Patek Philippe vintage) is in nice original unpolished conditions with thick and sharp edges, beautiful brushed finish on the sides of the case and attractive radial brushed finish on the bezel. There is some wear at 6 o’clock position. The screw down case back cover is in mint conditions with wonderful radial milling. Case measurements are 33x38mm .
The blue dial is in attractive condition and has a wonderful sunburst finish. The hand set is in top conditions.
The manual wind Patek Philippe calber 23-300 is winding smoothly and running fine.
On original Patek Philippe vintage crocodile strap that aged to a wonderful chocolate/plum color perfectly complementing the watch. Original stainless steel buckle.
A rare, fine and super cool Patek Philippe from the era of live like you’ll die tomorrow. Enjoy it while it lasts.
