This uber unusual Patek Philippe from the 1970s checks all the boxes for me: texture, shape, color, uniqueness!
Reference 3573 is a rare production from Patek Philippe featuring an automatic backwinder movement, a tonneau oversized case and a refined textured dial, to top it all a double signature from the retailer “Arte Suizo” an important agent for Patek Philippe in Colombia.
The 18k white gold case measuring an astounding 36mm is in pristine conditions featuring a wonderful brushed radial finish on the bezel. The hallmark on the case back is sharp and deep. The back wind crown is in mint conditions and fully functional.
The mesmerizing dial showcasing an intricate texture is in pristine conditions, the navy blue applied white gold markers and hand set are in mint conditions.
The integrated bracelet with it’s Milanese mesh pattern is attractive and in fine conditions. Total length 7.75 inch.
The automatic Patek Philippe caliber is running well and just serviced in my workshop.
A fantastic and rare Patek Philippe ahead of it’s time back then and still ahead of the herd today.
