Chances are high you’ve never seen this watch indeed one of the rarest and scarce references of Patek Philippe, a magnificent marriage between two brilliant Gerald Genta designs: The Golden Ellipse and the Nautilus. We can still choose if to call it Nautellipse or Ellpisilus (I’m with the latter).
The elongated and elliptical stainless steel case measuring a masculine 36 x 42mm is in sharp original conditions and as said above it shares features from both fabled models mentioned (the shape, the “ears”, the crown etc) .
The incredibly cool dial with it’s two tone grey bulls-eye design and tritium luminous indexes is in pristine conditions along with the hand set matching in creamy patina to the tritium.
The “Nautilus” style bracelet with it’s center cushion links is sharp and erect and will fit a 6.5 inch wrist. The buckle with the Patek logo is faceted and sharp.
The quartz Patek Philippe movement is running flawlessly with no issues.
A rare chance to acquire one of the most unusual and sexy Patek Philippe watches of Genta design, I’ve been seeking for a steel version forever this is it!!
