Pffff wow to this sensational and rare Patek Philippe from the obscure production of the early 70s…Nautilus who? It’s all about the purity of the Ellipse.
An absolutely mint and crisp case with an unusual shape and metal finish further enhanced by the textured sunburst dial, to top it all an automatic movement with back wind crown. Not a Patek you see everyday.
The case measuring 36mm in diameter is in mint conditions with uber crisp radial finish on the metal giving much visual movement to the viewer. The lugs are crisp and and all the edges are super sharp and well defined. The absence of a side crown makes a super clean well defined look. The watch appears barely worn ever.
The dial with it’s florentine like texture is just mesmerizing along with the navy blue accents on the markers and hand set. The Patek Philippe signature goes along with the vivid appearance of the dial.
The movement is running strong and was just cleaned and serviced in my workshop.
On Patek Philippe rare crocodile 1970s vintage strap and original Patek Philippe 18k gold buckle.
Accompanied by it’s original Patek Philippe hangtag.
A sensational find, the new owner will be beyond pleased!! Honestly, I wish I could keep them all!
