One of of my all time favorite watches an absolute feat of design and color, the IWC Porsche Design compass watch from the brainchild of Ferdinand Butzi Porsche circa mid 1980s is a tremendous wristwatch indeed.
The rare Safari green iteration is rarified and hard to come by.
The aluminum Green PVD finish case measuring 39mm is in overall real nice conditions with minimal wear on the green coating found just on certain edges. The compass function opens with no issues and works well. The case back and it’s engravings are pristine.
The absolutely fantastic mocha brown dial is in attractive conditions along with the original hand set with matching tritium luminous patina.
The aluminum and hard to come by original bracelet with IWC proprietary sliding closure clasp is in overall fine conditions and will fit a 7.5 inch wrist.
The automatic IWC movement is running well and keeping time.
A really fantastic watch deserving a world class collector.
