A strikingly attractive and cool watch not to mention ultra rare in this color iteration!
The compass watch (Kompass-Uhr in deutsche) by IWC for Porsche Design is the brainchild of industrial designer Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche of Porsche fame and was produced in the early 80s in Titanium and mainly black PVD coated.
The 39.5mm titanium case military green PVD coated called “Safari” and used by Leica too for their cameras is in overall fine conditions with minimal wear around some edges. The compass lock system opens and closes smoothly along with the actual compass and mirror in pristine conditions.
The wonderful tropical brown dial is in mint conditions along with the hand set.
The automatic IWC caliber is running well.
The titanium military green PVD coated bracelet is in fine conditions and will fit a 7.25 inch wrist. It is possible to fit this watch on a strap too.
