Drop dead gorgeous watch this IWC x Porsche Design from the brainchild of Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche: form follows function all the way here in this 1980s refined tool compass wristwatch.
The 39mm aluminum ultra light case and bracelet are PVD blasted in the original super attractive camouflage green and come to me in overall mint unworn conditions. WOW. The compass along with the mirror hidden within the case are pristine.
The dial with it’s dark caramel shade is in very attractive and mint conditions along with the hand set. The red seconds hand is a fantastic detail.
The bracelet is fully linked and has no stretch. The clasp / buckle and it’s patented and interesting indeed “slide in” closure method open and seal firmly.
The automatic IWC movement is running smoothly.
This watch is one of my top 10 favorite references of all time, I pursued the camo green version for very long… I’m proud to have finally fished out from the ocean this trophy watch and now ready to pass it on to a refined collector!
