I’ve been very fascinated by the sculpture like creations of Audemars Piguet from the 70s a time where creativity showed no restraint and design was king. A classic example is this wonderful AP bracelet wristwatch in white gold embodying all the power of the maison from the thinness of the movement to the intricacy of the metal work, this watch is CLASS A.
The unusually shaped TV Tonneau case measuring 32 x 32mm and appearing larger on the wrist is in flawless conditions with refined florentine finish on the bezel. The case back still retains it’s original factory sticker (gasp!) furthermore showcasing it’s unworn conditions.
The attractive anthracite black dial is in mint conditions along with the hand set in pristine conditions.
The wonderful, let me say again wonderful, bracelet with it’s intricate pattern and is supple and flexible. Total length 7.5 inches. The clasp with AP logo is in good conditions.
The automatic iconic ultra thin caliber 2120 is running well with no issues.
A fantastic watch for the collector with style.
