A very unusual Audemars Piguet from the 1940s featuring an exquisite Carre’ case with flexible lugs allowing the watch to wonderfully wrap around the wearer’s wrist.
The 18k yellow gold case measuring 28 x 37mm is in truly crisp conditions with fine edges and prominent brushed finish, the serial number engraving on the back is still crisp and deep. The cabochon crown is mint. The flexible lugs are elastic and flowy in their mechanics.
The original gold color satin finish dial is in pristine conditions and features the classic 1940s AP font.
The mechanical manual wind AP caliber is winding smooth and running fine.
On 18k yellow gold associated bracelet that will fit a 7.25 inch wrist. You can obviously wear it on a strap too!
