Here we have a feat of fine watchmaking by Audemars Piguet creating for us one of the slimmest and purest automatic movement dress watches of all times.
Reference 5273 was made in the mid 60s/ early 70s and features the self winding caliber 2120.
The case measures 34mm in diameter appearing larger on the wrist to the thin bezel design and ultra thin 5.9mm case. The steel case is in absolute mint conditions with original sharp edges and facets on the lugs and a clean bezel. The screw down case back retains it’s fabulous original radial sunburst finish and crisp serial number engraving.
The neutral color dial is in pristine conditions with no defects along with the hand set in fine conditions.
The movement is running well with no issues. I do not have service history for it.
Accompanied by it’s original AP presentation box.
A real collector’s item for the discerned connoisseur of fine watchmaking not following the herd out there.
